Which podcast apps can play ad-free podcasts?
Section titled “Which podcast apps can play ad-free podcasts?”Any app that can follow a show by its RSS URL. ZeroAds cuts the ads out of each episode and gives you a clean feed URL. Apps that take a feed play it like any other show.
None of the big podcast apps remove ads by themselves. The ads are inside the episode audio, read by the hosts or stitched in by the show’s hosting service, so there’s no setting to switch off. That’s also why ad blockers can’t touch them. The ads have to come out of the file first.
Apps that take a clean feed

The same feed works in 47+ apps. If yours isn’t listed, look for an option called “Add by URL”, “Add RSS feed” or “Follow a show by URL”. If it has one, the clean feed will play there.
Apps that can’t take a clean feed
Section titled “Apps that can’t take a clean feed”These apps only play shows from their own directory, so a private feed has nowhere to go. You can keep using them for music or radio, and move just the podcasts to an app above.

How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Sign up at zeroads.ai and add a show. Your first 5 episodes play free in the ZeroAds web player.
- Subscribe and copy that show’s clean feed URL. Each show gets its own.
- Follow the URL in your app, then unfollow the original feed.

Which podcast apps work with ZeroAds? Any app that can add a show by its RSS URL: Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Overcast, Podcast Addict and 47+ others. Spotify, Amazon Music and iHeartRadio can’t, because they don’t let listeners add a feed by URL.
Does any podcast app remove ads by itself? None of the apps on this page do: the ads are inside the episode audio, so a player has nothing to switch off. ZeroAds cuts them out of the file before your app downloads it, so they’re gone in whichever of these apps you use.
